irst thing in the morning, I am a 'chef ', cooking breakfast for everybody.Then it's on to being a 'wardrober ' to find clothes that match so no one looks like a Hobo. Of course, then 'Mama' has to appear and take care of any problems that pop-up. Next it's time for the 'secretary' to appear. Homework has to be signed and in their book bags, lunch money in their pockets, any special projects hauled to the car, and all notes to the teacher written & signed & in an envelope. 'Comforter' now takes over to assure that the book report will go fine & the math test won't be as hard as he thinks. Enter, 'chauffeur' to get the whole block's kids to school on time. All this is done and I have the rest of the day to myself, right?
BEEP-BEEP !! Wrong answer !! Now I need to go to work. I rush back home...shower...do my hair..."fix my face" (like that's really possible)... find something to wear...and drive myself to the hospital. I guess this is under the heading of 'Independent Woman'. Of course, 'cosmetologist' has been in this morning, too. Now, it's time for 'Nurse Nancy' to take over for the next 8 hours.
Now that's 10, count 'em, 10 hats I've had on and it's only 8:00 am. I'm tired just writing about it.
